Materials needed to create works of art vary in types, quality, and prize. It is not necessary to have materials to learn theory and basic knowledge of techniques. Participants inventory of supplies and tools can and will grow over time with persistence so do not feel that you have to go and buy large quantities of/or expensive materials before starting a class. In the beginning phases of any classes or lessons, even photography, all participants really need to have are pencils/pens and a sketchbook/sketchpad.
